What Do You Really Know About Nuclear Power?
Nuclear power is known to be a clean and efficient way of boiling water to make steam, which turns turbines to produce electricity. In most nuclear power plants, a specific fuel is used in order to produce electricity through a process known as "nuclear fission", which splits atoms within a nuclear reactor. While nuclear energy has been present for nearly 100 years, just how much knowledge do you have when it comes to everything nuclear? Let’s find out!

Nuclear power has produced energy for countless areas of life, and while it may be a tool of convenience for electricity and other power-related sources, nuclear power plants can also pose quite a danger. In 1986, a nuclear disaster, known as the 'Chernobyl Disaster', was caused by a nuclear accident that was created at the No. 4 reactor in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, near the city of Pripyat in Ukraine. The disaster left radiation across the entire city, which is why Pripyat is a total ghost town today.

Beta vulgaris. That's what chard is. Would you want to eat beta vulgaris? More importantly, would you want to answer quiz questions by a person whose chosen name (chardemagne) is a portmanteau of Charlemagne and Chard? Well, it turns out that vulgaris actually means "common" not "disgusting", in the original Latin. One wonders if chard was the second most common greenery available?
