One of the most recognizable and culturally significant physicists was Albert Einstein. While regarded as one of the smartest people to ever live, he was also known to be incredibly silly and a bit of a playboy. While lots of scientists died before they became famous, Einstein was well known around the world while he was alive. He was recognized so often in the street that he started telling people "Sorry, people always think I'm Professor Einstein!".
