Measuring in with a land mass of 9.1 million square kilometres, Canada is officially the second largest country in the world. While Canada may be home to the longest coastline across the globe, millions of lakes and some of the world’s oldest rocks, they remain 39th when it comes to their population. Although they may be big, Canada is home to only 37 million people, which is about one tenth the population in the United States.
