Did you know that to be a part of the Academy your name must be unique? There cannot be two people of the same name listed in the Academy, so if your name is Leonardo DiCaprio, you're out of luck and will have to choose a different name. To get into the Academy you must be sponsored by two existing Academy members. Once you're a member, you receive a ballot every year to nominate and vote for Academy Award winners.
