Seatbelts
The 1980s had loads of car makes and models introduced, however, with great cars come some important rules! While the seatbelt was originally invented in 1959, front-seat passengers of any vehicle were required to wear a seat-belt as of 1983! Imagine that! Seat belts were only made mandatory less than 40 years ago, despite driving having been around for over a century before that.
