Dua Lipa takes after her father, Dukagjin Lipa, who just so happens to be in the music industry as well. Dua revealed that she grew up listening to her father, an English singer/songwriter, and considers him to be her musical influence. Despite having family ties to the music industry, Dua nearly gave up singing for good when her choir teacher sold her that she didn’t have the vocals to be a singer. Luckily, her father supported her passion and look where it took her!
